Pasture

This 65-acre facility has a nice mix of natural and shady areas and open pastures enclosed by solid 3-board fencing.  Each of our 12 paddocks vary in size from medium turnouts, to pastures with 5-10 acres in which horses may graze and roam as they please.  Our pastures provide shade from the Florida sun in the form of large mature oak trees and the horses are granted free access to a fresh water supply through automated waterers, 24-7.  In addition, the horses are periodically rotated from each pasture in an effort to preserve the grazing value in each area.

From May to October the paddocks are so lush with grass it's usually not necessary to offer your horse additional hay.  In the winter months however, it's important horses recieve hay in order to get roughage intake.  Fresh water in clean automatic waterers is available at all times.

Pastures are rotated regularly to let grass recover.  Additionally, they are dragged (for manure spreading) and weed treated along fence lines.

Fences are 'barb wire free'.  All fencing we use is safe for horses.  We do not use any kind of barb wire which can be a major hazard.

2010 Boarding Rates:  (Contact us for more info.)      Please Note:  Since September, 2007 we had NOT increased our rates until this year.
2010 rates are listed below:

Our basic board package is $275/month.  This includes Pasture/Field board and feeding your horse twice daily (you supply feed).

If you wish to have a stall, the cost is an extra $35/month.

Yes, it is true, we have kept our prices very reasonable and from viewing other boarding places we do know that the quality of our farm, the reliability of our service and our commitment to your horse(s) is unparalleled.  We find it necessary to feed all horses ourselves.  Because owners feed at different times and more than one horse may occupy a paddock, we do not allow owners to feed their horse.

Most of our paddocks are quite large.
