The Bar-B Farm is very proud to be recognized by Marion County, FL as a
"Farm of Environmental Distinction" every year since 2010.

We were given a new sign, as shown above, for 2012 that is now posted at the front entrance to the farm.

 Welcome to the Bar-B Farm.

Our Mission is simple:  To provide the best possible horse care in a friendly equestrian atmosphere.

If you're looking for a quiet place to board or retire your horse - you've found it.   We invite you to stop by and see the beauty of the Bar-B Farm in Ocala, Florida.  Come see what the Bar-B Farm has to offer.
Now offering
Overnight horse boarding $25 per night - paddock or stall board.
Great accomodations for folks in town for short stays.  We're just down the road from the Florida Horse Park - how convenient is that?

The 65-acre farm and rental Cottage are situated within easy reach of the Interstate.  The Bar-B Farm is only 15 minutes from I-75, but all our boarders are surprised how rural and peaceful our surroundings are and how close we are to Ocala, the Florida Horse Park, and the beautiful Florida Greenway.

We hope that you'll find this web site a great resource of information that explains who we are and what we can do for you.

The day this foal was born (when this picture was taken),
my dog 'adopted' him.
The dog seemed to guard the little foal and spent hours with him
and his mother, who didn't seem to mind at all.
